Pigg River Precision, Inc. is a comprehensive precision rifle range for hobbyists and competitors.  We are a veteran owned business located strategically in the rolling terrain of Southern Virginia on over 500 expansive acres.  If you are looking for a venue to practice the art and discipline of long range shooting, or a professionally run precision rifle course of fire, we have what you are looking for. The range is an event-based only facility, meaning we do not offer memberships, dues, etc. and are only open for our published events and matches as per our website and social media publications.

Pigg River Precision offers .22LR precision rifle matches, various high-power precision rifle matches with a focus on the PRS/NRL style club series events, and select weekend dates for open range slots to hone your skills and test your gear with oversight from our Range Safety Officers.  The range is capable of 1,000 yard plus target engagements, with 12 different dedicated shooting stations and growing.  For open range slots, you must first prove yourself and your weapons system capable of accurate shot placement at 500yds or less as directed by a Range Safety Officer before being allowed to engage any longer distance target system.

Our range design allows for quick and easy transitions between stages, virtually eliminating the downtime between stages, and ensuring a high tempo, results oriented, and competitive environment that will keep you engaged and challenged throughout the match course of fire.  It is our intent to provide a friendly and professional environment that veterans, amateurs, and those new to the discipline will find engaging and straightforward.  PRP’s long-range course is built by shooters, for shooters.  Contact us to find out more, and attend one of our upcoming matches or open range days to see and experience the facility for yourself.
